The palette draws from deeper tones of green to balance the living room's dark blues. Combined with black iron fittings which are offset by warmer red accents, the room feels welcoming and friendly. Open shelves display well-used cookware and crystal glasses alongside copper objects that nod to the site’s history. The warm yellow of the cabinets connects to the mustard in the living room, helping to bridge the spaces. The seating area by the large floor to ceiling windows is as suited to gatherings with friends as to quiet, solitary mornings in the rising sunlight.
